Big changes at FirstIn! Hi all It’s been a wild ride for us at FirstIn over the last three months! For those that don’t already know, we’ve teamed up with GrabOne to launch GrabOne Store on Wednesday 29 June. We’ve been running deals with them over the last few months and it’s been working so well for both of us that we’ve decided to make it permanent. Exciting times ahead! Hong Kong Electronics Fair We're here at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair sniffing out the world's best bargains to put up on FirstIn! The show is huge - there are thousands of companies here all pushing their wares - with everything from household appliances to software applications being hawked. We spent a lot of time yesterday on our feet and took a few snaps (below) to give you guys an idea of what the show is like. Some of the products are pretty random - the pic on the right is of some "humidifier" machines. Still not 100% sure on what their practical use is, but there's no shortage of them for sale here! There were some pretty awesome massage chairs around - I know what's on my Christmas list this year!! There's also some pretty sweet Android phones around the place as well - we'll definitely have some deals on these in the near future!! Daily Deals Sites not sustainable? Are Daily Deal sites sustainable in the current market environment? The Dominion Post asked the question of Adam from FirstIn, and wrote an article outlining the current state of the market. FirstIn Rocks CES! A few members of the FirstIn team were fortunate enough to jet off to our version of "The Greatest Show on Earth" - the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in early January. This is where we get to keep an eye on the latest trends and products coming to market in 2012, and is a great place to get a feel for the current state of the electronics industry. Whilst there, Adam was asked to write a wrap for the Dominion Post newspaper, outlining the show experience and the market in general.
